The minions are the creation of the Universal Pictures, who first produced them in the movie Despicable Me. They are the small yellow, comical assistants of the super villain Gru who was trying to maintain his notoriety by stealing the moon. The appearance given to Kai by the Lego was very interesting. He is mostly found in red attire, has brown spiky hair and always found to have a more focussed expression on his face. Being named the Red Ninja of Fire he was found to be very hot-headed, totally justifying his elemental affinity. Earlier he found it difficult to get along with other Spinjitzu master but later came to be friends with them.
